Joe Harcrow Obituary

JOE FREEMAN HARCROW
1940 ~ 2012
Beloved son of Shands (preceded) and Jo Eda (Berryman) Harcrow, Joe has left us to be with his Lord.
Preceded by loving spouse Barber (Crane) of Ceres, CA. Joe was a loving father of Michael and Shanann.  Attentive grandfather of Ceceila, Vic'Toria, Kathryn and Heléna.  Loved sibling of Ada Maria, Don, George, Shands, uncle to numerous nieces and nephews, and dear friend to many.
We will carry your memory in our hearts.
Native of Matador, Tx, Joe lived most of his life in Hughson and Oroville, CA, and spent his remaining years with his immediate family in Florida.
A member of First Southern Baptist Church & Cement Masons and Plasterers Union, Joe lived a very colorful and eventful life.
Cremation was chosen.  There will be no visitation and no service is planned, but prayers are always welcome.
Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened.  Happiness never decreases by being shared.
"I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies, and whoever lives and believes in me will never die." John 1:25-26

So very to sorry to hear of Joe's passing. Knew him and his family from Empire and church. I was a friend of Ada Marie. I have an amusing memory of Joe from a church youth skating party at the Tulley Rd. rink. I've never forgotten that.
