Morley and I went to the same high school — but about forty odd years apart. I only discovered this recently, but having watched Mr. Safer on “60 Minutes” over the years, I always felt that he was a part of my life. He is sorely missed by many of us, for was truly one of the ‘Greats’. Belated condolences to Mr. Safer’s family — may he Rest In Peace.

His voice was safe and kind and you could see the sincerity in his eyes, which made you want to listen to the many interesting subjects he talked about. May Almighty God give all of you strength, courage, and peace in the difficult days ahead. Isa 41:10, 13 He will be truly missed

He truly left a legacy of an amazing and interesting life-experiences-journal...He was a good addition to "60 minutes". My sincere condolences to his family and friends for losing a loved one... I'm truly pleased to hear of your privilege to enjoy of his company for 84 years. I've always enjoyed watching Mr. Safer on 60 Minutes and the interesting segments he covered. I will miss that. Please find comfort in knowing that others care and share your grief.
