I am sorry to have missed you. As you inspire me and helped many in need during dark times,I wanted to return a gift more precious than any medal.
I had a son,William. And as you suffered and lost family,I wanted my son to have you as his Nana to repay your loss. It is Kiwi custom also,atawhai.

I kinda like her acomplishments

Nancy was a genuine heroine. A woman who, having seen first hand the horrors that the Nazis were inflicting on Jewish people - she saw Jews who had done nothing wrong, tied to a wheel and being whipped - vowed then and there that she would do everything in her power, big or small, to help fight Hitler and his rotten party.

Nancy Wake you were a true hero in every sense of the word. Would have loved to have met you. Merci for everything you did in your lifetime so that my family and I could enjoy freedom. Viva le Nancy.
