Nancy Alward Roberts, 68, of Naples, unexpectedly passed away on May 18, 2017. She was doing what she loved most, traveling on the open seas with her husband, David.

Daughter of Robert and Nancy Alward, she was born in Cambridge, MA, and spent her childhood on Riverslea Farm in Epping, NH raising and working with Hereford and Holstein cattle. She loved 4-H, showing cattle and was proud to share her excitement of the dairy industry for a year as NH Dairy Princess. Having graduated from Exeter High School, she went on to UNH, earning her BS degree. Her love of 4-H led her to Florida, working as a County Educator, where she met husband David and eventually to an award winning 25 year career as a successful owner-operator of an Allstate Agency in Naples, FL. Upon retirement, she remained busy, volunteering at the Naples Hospital in the Cardiac Dept mentoring recovering open heart surgery patients. Additionally, she was a huge supporter of the Collier County 4-H livestock auction.

Nancy was always up for an adventure and living life to the fullest. She loved to travel with her husband David, from the Far East and Europe, to cruising around the world. Their summers were spent at their beautiful mountain home in North Carolina overlooking the Blue Ridge. Nancy loved her family and friends, and always so generous to all.

She leaves behind her beloved husband David Roberts of 38 years. A brother Rob Alward and sister-in-law Terri, sister Martha LaPerle and brother-in-law Michael, sister Amy Alward and partner Colleen. Nieces; Bethany Janeski, Kathryn Tkcaz, and Martha Riad. Nephews; Christopher LaPerle, Ryan LaPerle and Matthew LaPerle, 7 great nephews and 2 grand-nieces. Additionally, she loved her dog Truffles.

A celebration of Nancy's life will be held on June 13, 2017 at 8:00 pm at Bayview Park in Naples, FL.
