I grew up watching " Nate the Great" he was truly one of the greatest big man that ever played the game, bar none. I lived in Tacoma, Wa, and i would attend most of the games when the Warriors played at the Seattle Supersonics. Of course I was there to see Big Nate. Nate was my idol and i tried to emulate my game after him but in reality there was only one Nate. He was a class act both on and off the court. I was saddened to here of his passing. A Central High school classmate. A quiet and yet engaging homeroom classmate. I sat next to him in homeroom for 3 years and played basketball with him during my freshman and sophomore years. I play football, basketball and track and Nate always gave me "high fives" and I gave him accolades back! I visited his restaurant in San Francisco and always had a free-of-charge meal during that time and we would set together, at his restaurant.
