Charles Kernc Obituary
Charles a veteran of WWII serving in the US Army, passed away on January 20, 2015.
He was born July 24, 1926 in Cleveland.
He was owner and operator of Kerzar Upholstery in Cleveland for many years.
He loved to hear Polka bands at the SNPJ Farm in Kirtland.
He was an avid exercise enthusiast with the Cardiac Rehab Team of Lake West Hospital Systems, going three times a week for over ten years.
His true pride and joy was spending time in the yard with his garden with his roses or his lawn, in fact he would get rave reviews of his being the best on the street.
The family wishes to thank the Kemper House of Highland Heights for the extraordinary care and support they provided.
Charles is survived by his beloved wife Phyllis J. Kernc (nee Zajc) whom he married 43 years ago; loving father of Kimberly J. Kernc; uncle and great uncle of many.
Preceded in death by his parents Anton and Frances (nee Skoda) Kernc; brothers, Anthony (Kay) Kernc, Frank (Barbara) Kernc, John (Vera) Kernc; and his sister, Francis (Louis) Starman.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Kemper House of Highland Heights, 407 Golfview Lane, Highland Heights, Ohio 44143
