Joseph Sage Obituary

Joseph H. Sage

Osteopathic physician and surgeon, deceased August 2. Joseph was married 68 years to Iris R. McBride Sage and since 1996 made their home in Springfield, MO. Joseph was a Captain in the Army Air Corp during WW II and was a B-24 bomber pilot stationed in Italy. He graduated in 1952 from Des Moines Still College of Osteopathy and Surgery and practiced general surgery in Greeley, CO, Longmont, CO, Chariton, IA and from 1974 to 1996 in Farmington, MO. He was a minister in the Community of Christ church and a member all his life. He is proceeded in death by his wife Iris and daughter Kathleen Ann. He is survived by three daughters, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be October 15, 10:30 a.m. at Community of Christ Chapel for Peace, 909 W. Battlefield, Springfield, MO. Donations may be made in his name to Graceland University, 1 University Place, Lamoni, IA 50140 or http://www.graceland.edu/giving/make-a-gift-today.
