Lorelei Ticchio Obituary
Lorelei Lucyle Ticchio, age 76, passed away on October 8, 2014, after a short illness.
"Lori" was the loving mother of Bradley Meumann, Karen Waryncia, and Robert Ticchio. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren: Kelly, Shannon and Christopher; and her brother, Bob Black.
She retired from a devoted career of nursing. Her retirement afforded time to share her passion for animals by volunteering at the C.A.R.E Shelter. She also had a family of pets: Katy Savannah, Dexter, Charley, Sadie and Abby who will miss her.
A memorial service will be in Greenlawn Funeral Home South on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 4:30 p.m. with visitation starting at 3:00 p.m. prior to memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes her memory be honored by donations to C.A.R.E Animal Adoption Center, P.O. Box 215, Aurora, MO 65605.

Brad,Karen, son Roert and brother Robert, my heart goes out to you. After 58 yearr of friendship I cant think of a nicer person than Lory. She will be missed by all who knew her.

My Aunt Lori was the epitomy of selflessness. I have known very few people who hold that trait. It was a blessing to be able to call her my aunt. I am so glad me and my family made several trips to visit in the last several years. Nothing is more valuable than time spent and memories created with your family. Rest in peace to my beloved aunt.

Offering our deepest sympathy in loss of your mom. I sure miss my mom every day . Three years next month....and everyday that goes by iI want to call or have her chicken soup or just to say hi! It is hard and difficult road. Look at all the good memories and cherish them.

I grew up with lori's son and she was an Amazing woman. Generous and thoughfull. I've seriously not met anyone like her in my life save my own mother. I am saddened at her loss but the world is truly not as good a place with out Lori in it.

I didn't know Lorelei, but I wish her a safe and wonderful journey and all things beautiful ahead. Thank you for the love and kindness you undoubtedly shared with those who crossed your path in this life, animal and human alike. My condolences to all who knew and loved her.

What a woman! She was so upbeat, always with a smile on her face. She was a great volunteer at C.A.R.E. and loved those animals. I will certainly miss her, such a kind and good hearted person.

I am so sad to learn of my sweet cousin Lorelei's passing. She was an amazing woman, her smile would light up a room. Her sweet loving spirit will remain in my heart forever. She is now at peace with Jesus and I'm sure enjoying a family reunion in Heaven!
