ZATULSKIS, GEORGE J. George J. Zatulskis, age 75, of Branford passed away peacefully on Thursday February 26, 2015, following a lengthy and heroic battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife Patricia Andersen Zatulskis, his children William (Marcia) Zatulskis of NY, Robert (Karen) Zatulskis of Newtown and Peter (Mary Milano) Zatulskis of East Haven, his grandchildren, Emily, Joshua, Grace and Andersen Joseph “A.J.”, his sister Barbara Oemcke of Unionville, his sister-in-law, Mary (Lucien) Labonte of FL and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Zatulskis. He was born in New Haven on June 10, 1939, son of the late Joseph and Viola Zatulskis. He was a retiree of Honeywell. George was an avid racing fan and was a long time car owner and racer at West Haven Speedway. He was also an accomplished card player. He loved nature and took special pride in his gardens especially his many azalea plants. Although a private man, he was always up as the center of any gathering. He was memorable to any and all who met him. He valued time with family above all. All funeral services will be private in care of West Haven Funeral Home at the Green.
