Eugene Semon Obituary
Eugene John, 68, of Englewood, formerly of Paramus, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2015. He was a proud alumni of Bergen Catholic High School class of '64 and Manhattan College class of '68. Eugene was a Chemical Engineer and a Biological Science enthusiast. Eugene was an Army veteran who served our country proudly during The Vietnam War.
Cherished father of Jeffrey Semon and his wife Nicole of Woburn, MA. Beloved brother of Theresa White and her husband Tom, Susan Roach and her husband Bob, Michael Semon and his wife Gari, Eileen Almeida, John Semon and his wife Tiffany, Maureen Melchiorre and her husband Michael and Loretta Detitta and her husband Chris. Loving grandfather of Eleanor. Eugene is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Thursday September 3, 2015 from 6-9 PM at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home 113 South Farview Avenue, Paramus, New Jersey with a Funeral Service at 7:30 PM on Thursday September 3, 2015 at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, Paramus. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday September 4, 2015 at 9 AM at St. Peter The Apostle R.C. Church, 445 5th Avenue, River Edge.
Cremation will be private.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any mans death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
