My Dear
My Dear Ron,

You were my friend since St. Mary's in Dumont, N.J.. We walked to first grade together. When we were nineteen we lived together in that horrible apartment in Lodi.
We went are ways for years and met-up again at our class reunion in 1986 (20 years).
I last saw you in California in 2003 we kept in touch and again got involved in our own stuff.
I never knew you were sick. I wish I could have been there for you. After reading all the wonderful things on this page I realize I loved you as much as all the other people whose lives you improved.
I think of you often(like today)I am so glad I found this page.
I will always love you and am proud to have shared just a small portion of your wonderful life.
I'll see you when I see ya.

Love,
Mary

Veronica,
My dear friend... Where do I start?

I first want to say, thank you. Thank you for so many wonderful years of friendship. Its been quite a ride! And I cherish every second.
I also want to thank you for my friendship with Brian and Brendan. Thank you for bringing me into their world. They are great guys and great friends. Friends for life. ( you know what that means...)

Veronica, I am going to miss you terribly. But there's a part of you in my heart that will live forever.
Although I will be lost without you, I do find comfort in knowing that you are no longer in pain and you are with The Lord in heaven.

And V, on every trip we have ever taken, or any of our visits, you always talked about your boys and how much you loved them. You even wrote to them to let them know that.
Rest assured my friend, your message was delivered, as promised.

Well, I suppose, when The Lord puts out the new shift bid you will be stuck with T/W off, but, thats ok, T/W are probably great days off in heaven.

We love you.

Veronica,
What I admired most about you was the amount of love that you had for your entire family. It really meant alot to me to be able to be a part of that family after coming from a small family myself. I will always cherish the family gatherings in New York for Christmas, the Clam Bakes and Rockaway beach. I always appreciated how important it was for Brian and Brendan to stay close with the family in New York. It was always obvious how deeply you loved your boys and I know that you will always be watching over them, sending them your love during difficult times. You will be missed!
Love you, Jenn

My Mentor Veronica,

You will be sorely missed. You left a legacy for so many people.
With you leaves true professionalism, courtesy, character, strength, good humor, friendship, manners, truthfulness and too much more to mention. I am honored to have worked with you and been considered your friend. Because of you, I am a better person.
I will pray for your family and friends you leave on Earth, but I know you are in a much better place and happy. I know you did a fine job of raising your sons.
I will miss you and I will see you when God calls me home....

As you know Veronica was very special to me and my kids, Robyn and Kris. It broke my heart that she had to endure so much pain ~ it did not seem fair as she was always the one to be counted on if any one needed help or support. She had a heart of gold ~ always giving and she is finally at peace. She will be missed. I'm sure Walter was happy to see her ~ My love to you ~ God Bless ~ Love, Pat Renton Kappenhagen

I feel like we have lost a part of our family. Veronica was always there, either by Dad's side or on her own taking care of one of us Hagans as we came and went from DFW. Veronica is the one who told me that I needed to come on in because Dad was waiting for me so he could go Home. She let me cry and she was strong for me. Dad got such a kick out of her and had so much love and respect and the feeling was mutual on her side. She met me whenever she could after Dad was gone. The airport will be so empty for me now, even with the multitudes passing through. What a fighter, and what a beautiful person. My heart goes out to her sons, she was taken way too soon.

To All Who Loved and Will Miss Ronnie:

Ronnie most definetly touched my life in a special way as she
was one of my favorite people. Whenever I had ocassion to
be in Texas, I made it a point to get in touch with Ronnie and
hopefully spend an evening with her.

She would share her stories of encounters with celebrities and most often have a story of a practical joke she had played - almost always on Edward. We would update each other on family and talk of the good times that were now past - always happy talk.

She was a devoted Catholic and a true believer in her faith and her God - there is no doubt in my mind where she is today.

As she would always be a Forella, she too was always my cousin, and I will miss her dearly.

Veronica,

Although it breaks my heart that you are gone, I am so happy that you are no longer in pain. You fought the best fight to keep going, even when we weren't sure what it was we were fighting. Your heart was so strong because you used it your whole life on your family and friends.

In the 25 years we have been friends we've created some of the best memories that I will never forget. Although you are physically gone, the memories are so strong that your presence will always be felt. Those memories will help heal our broken hearts. Your inner beauty was just as vibrant and wonderful as your outer beauty.

Don't worry about the boys, Fin and I will kick them in butt when they need it. As a single mom you did a great job not only for Brian and Brendan but for their many friends you took under your wings also.

You are now with mom, Michael, and Walter Hagan, those who went before you that made impressions on your life. Riverdance your way to them. I will miss you terribly my big sis, but remember you fondly. Thanks for everything you did, especially the small gestures that always meant so much. Sleep well my "Ms Daisy" and watch over us. I love you.
