Bernie was my boss and truly one of the most memorable people I have ever known. A fighter pilot at heart he was loud and brash and a great guy to be around. Truly blessed to have known him. Back in the clouds, where I am sure he feels close to home. God bless you Bernie.

I think about Bernie often; very often to be honest. He was a very large figure in my tenure at OCC/ICSI in the 1990s that many of my memories at the time have him interwoven in them. He was a strong man, a good man, and an excellent observer of the world around him. His words and his actions were gifts and I still open them and look at them today.
Blessings to you, Bernie, always. What is remembered lives, and you live on in my memory, and I am blessed that you do.

Dear Darlene,
I just heard about Bernie today, and I am so sorry. He was a good man. He made my experiences at International Clearing Systems, Inc., so very enjoyable. Bernie was an excellent traveling companion and I always appreciated his stories, his savvy, and his desire to get things done. I learned a lot from Bernie, and I am thankful. Blessings to you and yours.

Dear Darlene, My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to you and your family. I met Bernie in 1980 when I started working at OCC. One of the things I will never forget is how he yelled "fore" while taking a golf swing in the office. That always woke everyone up. I learned so much about the business from Bernie over the years, enjoyed his stories, sense of humor and loved his laugh! He was a great boss, mentor and friend. I've missed him very much since he retired and am now distraught with the news of his passing. My sincere and heartfelt condolences!
