JO ANTOINETTE (FAUSETT)
Ocala - Toni Wooten a longtime resident of the Ocala area, died Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Born in 1941 in Ocala, to Clifford 'Buddy' Dixon Fausett Jr. and Johnnie Long Fausett, she graduated from Ocala High School, class of 1960.
She was married for 56 years to Tommy L. Wooten a United States Air Force Combat Cameraman and accompanied him on his many assignments throughout the country. Toni was involved in many community outreach programs including teaching Sunday school at Hickam Air Force Base, held the position of Treasure, Vice President and President of the charitable Liz McGrath Circle organization. She was an avid reader, loved cooking and cookbooks, was an epic collector of Santa Clause's, pigs, and Teddy Bears. She was well loved by everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her husband; her three children, Donna, Roger and Stephen Wooten; and her only grandchild, Rhiannon Skelton; and her two great-grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Cancer Society. Services will be held at the Hog Valley Civic Center.
