Today you have been gone 8 years. It doesn't seem that long ago. You were joined by your son and my husband, Eddy, on May 26, 2022. And you're with my mom, who you became friends with, who passed April 9, 2009. I miss all three of you terribly, but, I know you are all together rejoicing in healthy New bodies with Jesus. I love all of you and will see you all again when it's my turn to be called home to Heaven. I can't wait for that reunion.

My mom and my mother-in-law, Alice, on one of our many picnics in the park. Now you both are rejoicing with Jesus. We love and miss you both.

You were always so good to me, a great mother-in-law, and second mom to me, especially after I lost mine in 2009. You lived life to the fullest, making the most of whatever came in your life. You helped so many people. I am thankful that you were active right up to the end. Rarely could anything keep you in bed, you were up early, out of your room in the nursing home, playing cards, attending all activities. You were a helper to many of your friends at the nursing home, helping them in their needs and outliving almost all of them. With their passing, she would make a new friend and begin her helping with their needs again. She had had brain surgery and could no longer live on her own, but her body never slowed down until the very end. I remember us at one of our many picnics at the park next door, Eddy leading you to the Lord. It helps so much to know that you are rejoicing with Jesus. And we thank God that you did not linger in suffering, you passed after saying you were tired and needed to lay down and you went right into the arms of Jesus. I can think of no better way to go. Love and miss you mom. Say hello to my mom and tell her I miss her too.
