My condolences to Nancy, and to Jennifer and Teresa and their families. Our family was visiting at Uncle Steve's and Aunt Annie's back when my brother Mike was maybe 13 and I was around 10 and we were throwing a football around. When it was time to leave, Tom who was maybe in his early 20s and was probably done using it, told us we could keep the ball! It became our street football; it was not new but it was a leather ball, so if you wet your fingertips, you got a great grip on it and could throw high-arching bombs down the street. We always called it the Tommy Pallija ball, and used it for many, many street football games. When I heard Tom was in the hospital, the next time I was at Mom's (Tom's Aunt Mary's), I got the ball out of her garage cabinet and could still read what Tom had scratched into the leather all those years ago: P A L L I J A. Rest in peace, generous cousin Tom.

I will miss you here ~ I will miss that laugh of yours and the mexican fiestas for your birthdays, but I know it was time for you to go home and be free of earthly pain. For that, I am comforted.
Thinking of the sweet and warm loving uncle you have always been, and not having kids of your own, I know how much you loved & adored me and cute lil' Jenny, and then our kiddos, Nick & Peachy, who entertained you as well.
But I also can't help but laugh recalling that you called me "imp" & "fidget"... hahaa !!! Goshhh, I will truly miss talking with you and trying to make you laugh. I'm remembering so many happy times, esp. during holidays when the house was full of life and love. It sure won't be the same here, but I'll see you, and Papa Pipepacker and Gammy one sweet day ~ Until then, wear those earned wings with pride ~

Dear Cousin Tom, We were the first 2 granchildren, so we were the cousins who grew up together.....@ Oakdale & BHS. We did love to dance & listen to all that wonderful 50's music. You even came to visit me in Albuquerque! All those days gone by.....all filled with great memories. Till we meet again...save me a dance!
Lots of love,
Joni

Dear cousin Tommy,
I will always remember your wonderful hobby of raising tropical fish. I enjoyed learning about the fish and seeing the joy in your face while you shared your aquariums with me. May God's face shine upon you and God's loving care comfort your family.

Dear Cousin Tom,
You are the one that taught me to dance the jitterbug and you were like a brother to me and Paul. I will remember your sweet smile and laughter. So many memories that can never leave our hearts. Love, Cousin Margi

Dearest Uncle Tom, I am sad to know I will never again see your face, but my sadness does not linger, for I know you are in paradise with Gammy and Papa. Where there is no suffering, only love, joy, and peace. May the Lord shine His glory upon you forever. I will miss you! Love Your niece, Jennifer "sweet pea"
