Born on the Itazuke Air Force Base in Fukuoka, Japan, to Dr. Dane W. and Avis Bruster, Michael graduated from Norfolk Senior High School in Norfolk, Neb., in 1977, and the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 1981. On October 5, 1985, he married Lisa Peters at St. Mary Catholic Church in Norfolk. They had two children, Eric and Rachel. He loved hunting and fishing, especially when his family, friends, and cherished dogs could be involved. He was preceded in death by his father, Dane; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Louis and Wilma Peters. He is survived by his mother, Avis; his wife, Lisa; his son, Eric and daughter-in-law Trisha (Nice) Bruster of Alameda, CA; his daughter, Rachel Bruster of Omaha; his sister, Stephanie Van Housen and niece, Hannah, of Coralville, IA; his brother, Douglas Bruster, sister-in-law Elizabeth Scala, and nieces, Madeleine and Claire Bruster, all of Austin, TX.
MEMORIAL SERVICE Wednesday, 10am at the West Center Chapel. Interment, Hillcrest Cemetery in Norfolk, NE. Memorials to "Hunt of a Lifetime Foundation." HEAFEY-HEAFEY-HOFFMANN
