Two children were born from their union. Danialle was born in 1984 with Trenton following in 1988.

Peggy helped with the Grange's food stand at the County Fair for many years as well.

Peggy enjoyed many hobbies including leather crafting, ceramic painting, photography and making many Christmas stockings for family and friends.

Peggy had a love of flowers and plants, and collected as many different orchids as she could.

Peggy is survived by her husband Ronald of Weissert; daughter Danialle (Xavier) Menjivar of Columbus; son Trenton (Joanne) Carda of Hibbing, Minn.; grandchildren - Kale Menjivar, Cortana Menjivar, Kyla Menjivar, June Carda, Marleigh Carda, Jerron Carda and Ivy Carda; brother Micheal Peterson; sisters - Wanda Pace and Pam Klein; brother-in-law Jeff Carda; sister- in-laws - Sonia Carda, Cheryl (Bill) Knoll, Teresa Carda, Pat Eberhart, Denise (Tony) Sidzyik; and numerous nieces; and nephews.
