I just recently read about Roy's passing. I was one of Roy's last students. He showed me a lot about pool. My profound condolences go to all his family and friends. How do I get hold of Nancy? Thanks. Rest in Peace, Roy. I'll never forget you.

Roy was the light, in any dark pool room. As a man, few his equal. He was someone whom I always went out of my way to say hi. To his family and loved ones, I am lucky to have met him, as I first did in So. Cal. during the middle and late seventies on the green felts. He made me :)mile, and he always made my day just a little better.
Ma Man, I know you are definitely resting in peace.

I am saddened beyond belief. You were an awesome brother in law and more important, a loving, kind, thoughtful husband to my sister, Nancy, for that I am so grateful. I will love you always, Donna

Roy, I am very sad to see you leave this world.... You will be missed by those who knew and loved you. I will always remember the person you were and how you touched my life. You will be remembered by many as a great and accomplished pool player, trick shot exhibitionist, and certified instructor (aka Roy "Sensei" Yamane). A few will remember your love of fishing and the outdoors and your work as a landscape architect. I feel blessed to have known you and been a part of your life....
