Claudine Webb

1925 - 2014

Webb, Claudine age 89, of Orlando, passed away September 20, 2014. She was born to Harriet B. and William Claude Tippins on June 20, 1925, in Lyons, GA, and grew up in Baxley, GA, Ludowici, GA, and Perry, FL, before moving to Jacksonville, FL. She married David L. Webb in 1946 and they lived in Jacksonville, before moving to Orlando in 1964. She raised three sons and retired from managing the employment office at Southern Bell in 1980. She has been involved in the community and an active member of the Downtown Baptist Church of Orlando serving as a Sunday School Teacher, Nursery Worker, and Director of the Homebound Ministries. She is survived by three sons: David "Larry" Jr., Gregory A. and wife Elizabeth both of Orlando; Gary L. and wife Marcia of Auburn, AL; four grandchildren: Gary L. Jr., Katherine (and husband Andrew Burgbacher), Michael, and Stephanie; and two great grandchildren: Lyla and Lane Burgbacher. Visitation will be Thursday, September 25, at 10:00 a.m. with funeral services at 11:00 a.m., and will be held at the Downtown Baptist Church, 120 E. Pine St., Orlando.
