I will never forget the kindness that Dr. Toothman showed towards me when my first husband fell at work and crushed his ankles. Dr. Toothman hired me on the spot when I came by looking for employment at that time.
My deepest condolences to Shirley and all the family. I pray that God's love and comfort will envelope you.

Dr. Toothman was my parents dentist and then mine until the time he retired. I continued with Dr. Meeker when he took over the practice and kept up with what Dr. Toothman was up to in conversations with the office staff. I loved talking to him and he was one of the reasons I studied as a dental tech in the early 70's. My condolences to his family and friends. He is truly missed.

A fond memory I have is of Dr. Toothman giving out toothpaste and a toothbrush at Halloween for the treat. He would remind each of us children that rang his doorbell to "get the sugar out.!" I lived in the neighborhood a block away ,and we always knew what the good, caring dentist would put in our goody bags! My condolences to Mark and the whole family.

Dr. Toothman was our family dentist and we all went to Memorial Presbyterian Church. I loved seeing him and Mrs. Toothman. They always sat close together, and it was clear their relationship and love was stronger than most people dared hope for. His obituary is evidence that he had a life well lived and I am sure there are many that benefitted from it who never knew him .
