Harold Shaeffer Obituary
He was a graduate of the former Highspire High School class of 1950 and was a retired supervisor for the New Cumberland Army Depot.
Harold is survived by two sons, Harold L. (Buddy) Shaeffer Jr. of Oberlin and Glenn R. Shaeffer of Middletown; sister-in-law, Jennie Eleanor Row of Elizabethville; brother-in-law, George T. Thomson of Huntsdale, PA; two grandchildren, Glenn R. Shaeffer and Andrea N. Shertzer; five great grandchildren. Harold was preceded in death by his loving wife, Nancy E. (Thomson) Shaeffer. Graveside memorial services and inurnment will be held on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton Township. There will be no viewing or visitation. K.M. Buddy & Glenn, sincere condolences from my parents (Carole & Marlin Mellinger) and myself,Dixie Lebo. I remember fondly all the fun we had playing together and growing up together while our "moms" were best skating buddies. I also had the privilege of reconnecting with your mom during her illness. My parents enjoyed your dads company at MacDonalds over the past few years. What a wonderful family and memories you both must have! God Bless at this difficult time.
