Age 62, of Sharpsburg, on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. Loving husband of Patricia (Cautela); beloved father of Bernard J. III (Tracy) and Thomas J. Held; brother of Robert (Gerri) Kusluch; brother-in-law of Porky (Rosie) Boles, Mario Cautela, and Stephanie Karpinski; uncle of Harry, Rosalie, Emily, Lexie, Caitlyn, Rachel, and Andrea; dear friend of Harold "H" (Dawna) Burns. He owned and operated Patty's Farm Market, Aspinwall with his family for 20 years. Friends received FRIDAY 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. at WORRELL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 820 Main St., Sharpsburg, where services will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m.

It is with great sadness in my heart that I will not be able to see you again. I remember the wonderful times we had growing up together. Swimming in your pool, boy scouts, going to Isley's after church buying a giant dill pickle. Those were the days my old friend. I enjoyed stopping in to see you just to say hello every time I came home to Sharpsburg. Not only will you be missed by your family but by all that knew you. RIP Bernie and shine with the stars as you always have growing up.
