HAZEL BERRINGER Obituary
HAZEL J. (BROOKE) DELO
Age 91, of Plum Boro, died peacefully at home with family on Saturday, January 21, 2012. Beloved wife of 18 years to Robert C. Berringer and the late Joseph Delo; loving mother of Joseph (Maronee) Delo, Kathleen (Butch) Stotler, Linda (the late Sonny) Smith and Sallie (Ray) Stotler; grandmother of 11; great- grandmother of 20; great-great- grandmother of three; also survived by nieces, nephews and her furry friend, Reginald. Hazel was a lifelong member of the Presbyterian Church of Plum Creek. She was a wonderfully talented woman, having moved over 20 times, leaving the homes more beautiful then she found them with her artistic touch. She was a poet, a painter and a true innovator of scrapbooking. It was her way to share her love. Friends received Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at SOXMAN FUNERAL HOMES, LTD./ROTH CHAPEL, 7450 Saltsburg Road (at Universal Road), Penn Hills, where a service will be held Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. Interment in Plum Creek Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later time. To honor Hazel's memory, donations may be made to Plum Creek Youth Fellowship, 550 Center New Texas Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15239 and/or Wounded Warrior Fund, c/o a local VFW or American Legion.

By knowing Hazel, my life was enriched. Her wonderful personality and the way she always had a smile in the midst of anything was so impressive. She was a "Martha Stewart" before her time - beautiful talent in so many areas. I will miss her and extend my sympathies to all her family members.
