Meg, I was so sad to learn of Bill's passing in the Penn Stater magazine. You won't remember me, but I was one of the mechanical engineering students at Penn State Behrend who played Pinochle with Bill along with William "Bill" Brown, Karl Haltiner, Rita and a bunch of other engineers in the student union building. I have always fondly remembered that he liked to call you the spice of his life, his nut-meg. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.

Meg, don't know if you'll remember, but I introduced you to Bill many years ago at Behrend. Actually, he asked me to. He was smitten when he first saw you. My husband, Mike and I were very saddened to hear of Bill's passing and struggle. We have some fond memories of both of you back then and even some pictures. We are truly sorry.

Please accept my condolences. You may not remember but before the last class reunion you and Bill met my husband and I for lunch, I believe. I am sorry for your loss, as I have also lost my husband six months ago. I know what you are going through. Be strong and let your friends and family help you through what lies ahead. Prayers goes out to you and your family at this difficult time.
