Not sure what to say?

It saddens me to discover the passing of a good baseball player, a really great guy, and a FRIEND! I met Ralph at a L.A. Dodger Adult Baseball Camp, and he was the coach of our team there. This was in the 1980's (I am 83 as I write this and cannot remember the exact year), and we became good buddies there. Several months following the camp, he sent me an unsolicited, signed photo of the two of us, and it hangs on the wall in my office to this day. R.I.P., Ralph, and THANKS FOR THE...

I knew Ralph in high school(Davis in Mt Vernon). We met a few times in Dallas over the years. Ralph was best described in one Jewish word he was a MENSCH. REST IN PEACE GOOGSIE.(His nickname in high school.

MY CONDOLENCES TO THE BRANCA AND VALENTINE FAMILIES ON RALPH'S PASSING. HE, MY DAD HERMIE "THE BEAR" MARALLO AND RALPH'S BROTHER JOHN PLAYED BOTH BASKETBALL AND BASEBALL FOR BOTH A.B.DAVIS HS AND THE MT. VERNON BOY'S CLUB 1930'S -1940'S ! THEY HAD GREAT TEAMS AND GREAT FRIENDSHIPS FOR MANY YEARS. JOHN BRANCA WAS MY LITTLE LEAGUE COACH AND WE WERE THE LAST TEAM TO APPEAR ON "HAPPY FELTON'S KNOT HOLE GANG SATURDAY SHOW ! (OF COURSE ARRANGED FOR BY RALPH"! I CAN ALWAYS TREASURE MY MEMORIES...

Here was a man deserving of the highest praise.

I remember watching "Concentration" (with Hugh Downs as host) about 1960, and I remember how delighted I was the day that Mr. Downs introduced his next guest, "Ralph Branca." Mr. Branca went on to set records on "Concentration" that may not have been equaled, ever. He was undefeated for many days, and his winning streak drew the attention of the national press. During the remarkable run, Mr. Downs -- a devoted baseball fan, and now...

REST IN PEACE YOU ARE WITH THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

Ralph was a wonderful friend for 26 years. I first met him in 1990 at Dodger Fantasy Camp. We became fast friends and I was privileged to know he and Ann all these years. I so enjoyed listening to his stories about the Brooklyn Dodgers and his teammates. He was such a warm genuine man. He will be missed. My deepest sympathy to Ann and all the family.

My deepest sympathy to Mary, Bobby and families. May he rest in peace and your memories of him bring comfort to you all at this sad time.
