Ralph Stanley

He was my hero. I played his music to entertain myself

My Dad Leonard Stacy drove Ralph's bus for over 17 years. The Stanleys are like family. Ralph and his Clinch Mountain Boys , Jack Cooke and Curly Ray Clines were like uncles to me. I also got to meet Keith and Ricky when I was a teenager. And also several other Clinch Mountain Boys. I went to see Ralph 2 perform Friday March 10, 2023.

Ralph came to play in our little town of Whitley City Kentucky to play at our school because his wife's sisters children went there and Ralph loved his family the Duncan family was close to the Stanley's most of the Duncan family is also gone now and they are all back together singing at heavens gate to welcome those left on this earth may you rest in peace and thanks for your wonderful music Ralph and Carter and may you all rest in peace and my friend Bobby Duncan Ray Rowan ...

I grow up listening to DR.Ralph Stanley and Carter. Dr. Ralph Stanley is one of the best Banjo player's . DR. Ralph Stanley is in Heaven now singing and playing music with Cater playing for Jesus. Rest in Peace DR.Ralph. carry on Natan and God Bless. Thomas L. Thacker.

My mother told me stories about him and carter that they used to come to there house every day, My mother is also in heaven with him. I love his singing so much I get it up on my computer all the time , there is songs he song that my own daddy would sing, I hate that he left this world, but he is up there with my family now, my dad passed away June 13 1980. He and Carter played with my bothers that now also are gone on. now he is with his family . I'm a great fan of Ralph, I will miss him,...
