She was predeceased by her first husband, Francis J. Kauffman, and her second husband, Mark E. Paff.
Laura was born in Seltzer City, PA, on January 26, 1926, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Moravitz) Drobnick.
She was a 1944 Reading Catholic High School graduate.
Laura was employed by Parachute Mills in Wyomissing, and Boscov's Department Store as a manager in the domestic department on 9th Street, and later the North location. She was also the owner/operator of Pike Cafe in Reading from 1977-1984.
Laura enjoyed crafts, bingo, bowling, puzzles, walking on the beach and bike riding.
She was the last surviving child in her family.
Laura is survived by her daughter, Mary L. Ryan of Johnstown; her grandson, Derek and his wife, Nicole Moll; and 3 great-great-grandchildren: Natalia Moll, Julien Moll and Reece Moll.
A prayer service will be Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 11 a.m. in Theo C Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading. A memorial gathering will be Thursday, 10:30-11 a.m., in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 1100 Liberty Ave., Ste E-201 Pittsburgh, PA 15222, in her memory.
