Clyde Titman Obituary

Clyde Titman - 76 years old, entered into life on March 14, 1938 in Ione, California - entered into rest November 14, 2014 at his home in Sacramento, California. Preceded in death by his Father; Henry, Brothers; William, Hank, Albert and Sister; Darlene Lara, his Son; David Apodaca, Grandson; Raymond Apodaca. Survived by wife Gloria Titman with whom he shared 39 years of marriage, Brother; Gary Titman, Daughters; Jackie Kaslow, Tiffany Odom (David), Christina Avila (Richard), Sons; Gabriel Martin (Barbara) and Bobby Apodaca (Amber), 19 Grandchildren, and 7 Great grandchildren. Clyde Titman started his adult life at 17 enlisting in the United States Marine Corps, he then worked as an iron worker for several years. But, Clyde found his true passion and started his truck driving career with Hendrickson Trucking Company which he proudly worked for 21 years until ill health prevented him from continuing. He loved driving his truck through the great Northwest. Additionly, Clyde is a proud member of the Ione Band of Miwoks and a graduate of Elk Grove high school. Services will be held at Klumpp Chapel of Flowers, 2691 Riverside Blvd, Sacramento, California on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Followed by procession to St. Mary's Cemetery, 6700 21st Ave.

I sent the following text to Clyde my father-in law two months ago and I'm so glad he had the opportunity to read it....RIP Dad you will forever be missed!! TEXT----How you doing Dad? Yea, I know not so good unfortunately. I just want to say that if and when something happens god forbid I wanted to speak with you personally. I'm sure whenever that time comes you will find peace and solitude. Rest assured your beautiful daughter Tiffany, Marissa and Dylan and I will carry you with us always in our hearts forever so you will never leave us totally. I've always respected you as a man the trials and tribulations you went through in life and you continued on to be such a great provider for your family and a great grandfather to our children. My heart is filled with sadness and I hurt deeply knowing you are no longer physically here with us. You have been a great part of helping me guide my daughters. We've had lots of talks and shared lots of thoughts. I know you were tired, yet you tried to prepare us for your journey. You wanted us to be as strong as you are. I don't think there's anyone who could have that kind of strength as you.

It's been my pleasure to have had you in our lives.
