I was so sad to learn of Marlene's passing. It seems like your family has suffered the same sudden loss we did when Wendy King Taylor suddenly passed away. I remember all the fun times we had on Mission Road and Evelyn spending hours sewing new dresses for the start of the school year. Marlene was always so happy and we had such fun playing in the Bomb Shelter and sleep overs in the Browns back yard. I have been trying to get in touch with Larraine, my best friend at Glendale Elementary. I would love to hear from any of the sisters. You can get in touch with me at [email protected] or 208-529-5878.

I am very saddened to read about Marlene. All of you were just like the stepping stones in ages as we "Baker" kids around the corner. To be able to speak with Beverly when my loving sister Lona Mae passed away, reminded me of our Glendale childhood days. What happy times, and what a wonderful family and great friends you all are. There will always be a special place in my heart for your family. I'm sure that Wayne and Bryan feel the same. Our most sincere sympathy and loving hearts are indeed with you at this time. I am so shocked to hear of Marlene's passing. I have tried several times to reach her over the past years with no success and I will deeply miss her. WE were so close growing up and even after high school for several years and then we lost touch. She was there for me when my mother passed on and I will be forever grateful. I love Marlene as if she were my sister, she will be forever and always in my heart. You can contact me at [email protected]. I would love to hear from you Robbie. (In case you are confused as to who I am since I have remarried, I'm Susan Brown.
