Farris, Joan Marie (Rueter) age 61, of Coon Rapids Mn passed away peacefully on January 6, 2015. Joan was born in St Cloud Mn on December 19, 1953. She went to H.S. at Cathedral & St Cloud Tech.  She spent most of her life working as a document control specialist, but really enjoyed weekends at the lake fishing in the summer and quilting at home and at retreats in the winter. She always had a special place in her heart for her family, friends and dogs. Joan is survived by her husband Steve, daughter Melissa Ruhland, parents Tony and Alice Rueter, brothers and sisters, Jim (Lestie) Rueter, Sharon (Greg) Wagner, Karen (Steve) Lorenz and many neices and nephews.  

A Memorial will be held at Methven-Taylor Funeral Home, 850 East Main Street, Anoka MN, from 4-7 pm on January 9th.

Joan will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
