SOUTH BEND - Dennis James Homman, 43, residing in South Bend, Indiana passed away Monday morning, December 5, 2016 at his home. Dennis was born on October 29, 1973 in South Bend to Dennis Lee Homman and Jacqueline Dawn (Patterson) Homman and has been a lifelong resident of this area. Dennis is a 1992 graduate of Washington High School. He worked at Nyloncraft, South Bend for 17 years as a press operator.
Surviving is his daughter, Nicole Homman, of Granger; his mother, Jacqueline Homman of South Bend; his sister, Diane (John) Linville of South Bend; four uncles, Carl (Anita) Patterson, Jeff Patterson, Terry Patterson, and Roger Patterson; two nephews, Kyle and Conner Pierce; his best friend and cousin, Andy Patterson; as well as several other cousins and friends. Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Lee Homman.
A memorial service will take place at 1:00 pm Friday, December 9, 2016 at Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN 46615. Friends may gather with the family two hours prior to services (11:00 AM till 1:00 PM) at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the family c/o Palmer Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com.

Dennis and I had some great adventures. I was honored to be Dennis's best man. I will never forget Dennis, he was a good friend for many years. I know Dennis loved his family. Dennis was a great father our prayers are with Nicole, may God bless her heart and comfort her.
