To The Harvey Family: "Let not your hearts be troubled"....
Captain Paul Harvey was a distinctive man among men and was special to all who knew him. He loved his family dearly, his friends and this city. I was blessed to get to know him many years ago and I always called him my friend. I was also blessed to come to know many members of this lovely family.
Thank God for the love you shared, your time together and the beautiful memories you'll always hold in your heart.

To the Harvey family
We offer our sincere condolences on the passing of your father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Paul was a wonderful father and friend to everyone. He was a big man in presence, spirit, and heart.
It was such a blessing to have been able to know him during those years when the family lived on Edgewater. Simply put, it was fantastic in everyway. We were all so very fortunate whenever we had a moment to spend with him. He will always be remembered for the goodness he showed us.
Peace to you all.
Jim, Lee, Ben, and Chris.

To the family and loved ones of Paul Harvey...
Paul was a family friend for many years. He was a man who lived a life of service to others. He was such a kindhearted guy with a great sense of humor and was always ready to lend a helping hand. He was extremely hospitable in opening the doors to his home readily.
Just know that When the Lord calls our loved ones home, He leaves a gift of memories in exchange. Hold on to those fond memories because they are Paul's Legacy! His love, hard work, dedication, as well as the contributions made throughout the cities of South Bend and Benton Harbor can never be Erased.
We pray that you find comfort in knowing you were a special part of a long lived life. Stand strong in your Faith and may God's unfailing Love gives you peace.

A fine, caring man who always tried to take the time to listen. Mr. Harvey always seemed to take a bad situation- and make good out of it. He definitely had a"knack" for it. He (now, so obviously) seemed to be cut from a different cloth than many of the police officers he had worked with,- way back when. Always gave someone the benefit of a doubt, and offered hope, to many. He cared-and was a fine role model. Mike, you have so much to be proud of with your Dad, and may he rest in peace. Kurt Koloszar

My sincere condolences to Paul's family and all his friends.
In the early 60's I met Paul while we were working on opening of Goldblatt's in Mishawaka. Again we met when I shared a hospital room with Charlie Chambliss. He was a great person then and continued to be an inspiration to so very many.
Rest easy, Paul. You earned it.

Condolences to the Harvey tribe, on the loss of a truly good man. If we could all emulate him, there would be no racial divide.
His smile could light up a stadium, his handshake, a standing ovation. Sharon was a saint, allowing him out to pasture, spreading good will all day, every day.
Many of us have a "Paul Harvey' story, as do I, a memory that lasts with a smile. To share it would require several chilled, malted beverages on a sunny afternoon.
The tremors are gone now...rest in peace.
