Sean, my dear Sean
I am soo glad I know how happy-go-lucky you were when I spent time with you. You always made me smile and the love for the arts we shared (more time then should have at work) discussing up and coming plays, shows and music events.
I am glad you are at peace with your pains
But, very sad for the people who love and enjoyed your love for laughing, giggling and smiling have to miss you.
I miss you Sean
And, I will keep your family in my prayers for their pain without you as well

Dear Sean,
I just tear up every time I think of you. I'm sorry for your pain and hurt and wish you could have known how your energy lit up a room. I am going to always remember the good times we had while at work and when we use to hang out. I am going to remember how we use to have lunch together all of the time. I am glad to say I knew you. I will miss you Sean but, you are now at peace with God.

Sean and I sang together in st. Mary's Choir 2009-2010. He invited my sister and I to see his performance in a local production of The Sound of Music. He was marvelous; full of energy and the sheer joy of singing. When he gave us a big hug I could feel his enthusiasm-- he was shaking! Unforgettable; and WHAT a smile!

Rest in peace brother, i didnt know who you were. but you are with god now. I am Sikh(not here to preach, against my religion) we beleive that all people regardless of religion merge with god. rest in peace brother. and to the family celebrate his life what he would want. this is rough, i feel broken as if you i knew you forever. RIP, and i hope you are peace now.

To the family of Sean McGrellis, although I didnt personally know Sean I was deeply saddened by his passing. As I learned more about his caring, talented and giving nature it struck me that this world has lost an amazing man. Sean's family and friends are in my heart and prayers.

My deepest sympathy for Sean's family. I sang with Sean for a short time. In the brief time that I knew him he showed kindness and thoughtfulness. His voice was beautiful. My prayers for all who knew him.

I had the (un-)fortunate responsibility of taking over Max Bialystock for Sean at the Landis. I didn't really know him - we had one conversation five years ago when I took over the part. He was so grateful to me that I could step into the role so late in the process. Even though we both knew that the circumstances were such that he really had no choice, I knew that he was giving up a dream role and I was taking it from him. It was the worst possible way to get my #1 bucket list role. This is quite a loss. My thoughts and prayers are with Sean and the McGrellis family during this difficult time.

Dear Pat and family,
No words can express the deep regret I have regarding Sean's. He was a great student and musical talent. In will always remember how hard he worked and how he shared his love of music. I will always remember his smile, caring heart, and great performances. It was an honor to be his teacher. With all my heart I hope the Lord will give the strength to weather this greatest of storms. I have memories of your beautiful voice as you were Herod at St. Mary's Easter Cantata my last year there. You helped many people with the Butterfly Program and so much more. Most of all I miss the way your face shone when you smiled!
