News Death Notice
HARDEN, Franco David was born in Xenia, Ohio on December 17, 1980 to William Harden Jr. and Beverly (Chilton) Lee. He departed this life on Sunday June 14, 2009. He was a 1999 graduate of South High school in Springfield, Ohio, and received his Bachelor's degree from Urbana University in Urbana, Ohio. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife Marita (Robinson) of Springfield, OH; his children Jermaine, Jerney, Anisa of Springfield, OH, Brianna of Bellbrook, OH; mother Beverly and (Edward) Lee of Springfield; father William Jr and (Robin) Harden of Xenia, OH; three brothers, Guy Earley of Jamestown, OH, William Harden III of Cincinnati, OH, and Robert Harden of Xenia, OH; and a sister Shaconii Hamilton of Portage, MI. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents William and Ola May Harden. His body was entrusted to Porter-Qualls Funeral Home 823 S. Yellow Springs St. Family and friends may call on Thurs, June 18,2009 from 5-7 p.m. at Greater Grace Temple 380 W. Leffel Ln where his family will receive friends at 6:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m. Bishop Logan will be officiating. Burial will be Friday June 19, 2009 at 10.00 a.m. in Ferncliff Cemetery. The funeral procession will form at Porter-Qualls Funeral Home.

I just found out about franco today while looking up about titus arnold and it hurts me to know i lost another brother from the visions family. my prayers are with his family. i know they are both watching down on us. I met Franco the summer of 2001. I was a new coach to the staff @ Urbana. Franco always made me laugh. He was a good guy with a huge heart. He joked around a lot, but he was always serious about his football, family, and his school. I want to take this time to offer my condolences to the Harden family. Please accept my sympathy in your loss of Franco. I met Franco when he lived beside me in Northridge. He was a sweet kind young man. I was a recent UU graduate at the age of 53 and he was finishing up. I worked with homeless so Franco shared his plans to help youth. A few years later as I listened to Gerald Greene share info about a new program for youth, I just knew his business partner had to be Franco and I was right. I always felt this sense of pride in knowing Franco and I was so happy to know of his interest in social services. Please know he had an impact on me and can well imagine on many more that you may never even know about. God Bless.

Though I only knew Franco for a short time he made a big impact on my life. He was a wonderful guy constantly smiling and a very caring individual.
