Francis FRANCOMANO Obituary
Big Frank" 73, resident of Tarpon Springs, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 3:30 pm in Tarpon Springs.Frank was born in Yonkers, NY on September 6, 1941 to Pasquale and Carmel Francomano. He graduated with a BA in Spanish and Philosophy from Manhattan College in 1962, and pursued graduate study at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. Frank worked in many different fields, including advertising, consulting, and teaching, but his true calling always drew him to engines, planes, cars, and boats. Frank is survived by three children: Emily Francomano (Falls Church, VA), James Francomano (Belfast, Maine), and Nicholas Francomano (Los Angeles, CA); three sisters, Catherine Renza (Yarmouth Port, MA), Patricia Jasper (Los Angeles, CA) and Anne Marie Francomano (Rome, Italy); grandchildren Pablo (11) and Aria (7). He will be remembered by many friends. A memorial service will be held at the Holiday United Church of Christ, 4826 Bartelt Rd. Holiday, 34190 at 7 pm on Thursday June 4. Reception to follow. Flowers may be sent to Dobies Funeral Home, 4910 Bartelt Rd, Holiday, 34690 (727) 937-7555.Any donations may be made "In memory of Frank Francomano" to the First Steps Pre-School, PO Box 3279, Holiday 34692-4019.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any mans death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
