Lillian Convery Obituary

Lillian Convery (nee Lagara), 90, a lifelong resident of Kenilworth, N.J., passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, late Friday evening, May 10, 2013. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her funeral from the Opacity Funeral Home, 511 Washington Ave., Kenilworth, on Tuesday, May 14, at 10 a.m., thence to St. Theresa's R.C. Church, Kenilworth, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth. Visitation will be on Monday, May 13, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. For more information or to leave a personal condolence to the family, please go to www.opacityfuneralhome.com. Mrs. Convery retired from the restaurant business in 1975. She is survived by her two sons, Ronald Haag and his wife, Judy, and Alan Salton and his wife, Phyllis; she was the cherished grandmother to Janel Haag, Ronald Haag Jr., Justin Salton and his wife, Laura, and Steven Salton, and one great-granddaughter, Mia Salton, and the dear sister to Mr. Joseph Lagara. She was predeceased by two sisters, Rose Caruso and Mary Latura.

Ronnie,

Sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I feel fortunate to have had the oportunity to see her last year when Paula and I stopped by. Aunt Lillie was a real sweetheart and kind to me.
