John L. Salvatoriello Church organist and keyboard musician in Essex County, 59 John L. Salvatoriello, 59, of West Orange, N.J., passed away at home, surrounded by his loving family, on March 7, 2015. The funeral will be on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Galante Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave., Caldwell, N.J. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in West Orange at 11 a.m., followed by interment at Pleasantdale Cemetery, also in West Orange. John was born in Newark, N.J., and lived in Bloomfield, N.J., and West Orange for many years. He was a church organist and keyboard musician who played in various churches and clubs throughout Essex County, N.J., for over 35 years. He was also a self-employed painting contractor in West Orange. John is survived by his wife, Kathy (nee McCarron) Salvatoriello. He was the beloved father of Rae Marie Ploutz (James), Gianna Salvatoriello, and Joseph Salvatoriello; son of Marie (nee Turriziani) and the late Ernest Salvatoriello; brother of Joseph Salvatoriello, Roseanne Pizzarelli, and Lorraine Vanyo (Charles), and grandfather of Kairi.
