I know this entry comes a little late but i definitely feel the pain of the family.... 9 years ago, we lost our oldest son at the age of 14 to hypertrophic cardiomyopathy as well. He was a standout basketball player in Trotwood Ohio only a freshman in his first year of high school. Your family definitely has my prayers and support. Please accept my heartfelt condolences to the family, words cannot begin to express the sadness you are feeling right now, but I am praying that God will grant you the strength needed to get through this moment in your life. Throw your distress on Him because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:6, 7).

I had the pleasure of meeting Steven through my daughter. He was an amazing kid with a big heart and bigger smile. I am so sorry that he was taken so soon. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. God Bless You Steven.
