Donald Freedlander Obituary

Donald Freedlander was born January 13,1926 in Detroit, Michigan, to mother Helen Rosen and father Raymond Freedlander. During his younger years,he attended Central High School,and worked at his parents drug store after school. He enlisted in the United States Air Force during the World War Two,and was assigned to land aircraft carriers in San Francisco Bay.After the war ended,he returned to Michigan to become a Pharmacist,and later became a practicing Doctor of Osteopathy, paying for his education with his pharmaceutical degree. After graduation, Donald opened a practice in Ferndale Michigan,and was the father of four children, Victoria, Aaron, Monique, and Nicole, and was the grandfather to six grandchildren. Donald passed away on November 14,2015, and will be remembered by his family and friends as one of the kindest and most generous men they had ever known.

I have not seen or been in contact with Don Freedlander since our graduation in 1959. However I do recall him and his friendliness and devotion to the profession.
