I live at 1266 River Reach Drive right next to Bill's house. He will be remembered by me as a true gentleman & lovely neighbor! Bill did love his golf & I know he sponsored a local golfer or two. I'm hopeful someone in his family will reach out to me as I just learned of his passing. Sincerely, Gray 772-584-0006

I wanted to add that my dad was a resident of Vero Beach, Florida for over 30 years and was a cherished member of this community as well. He was a member of Dodger Pines CC and Grand Harbor CC along with his beloved wife Kathryn and his loving daughter Kristen. He made many friends in this town through golf, his devotion to St. Helen's Catholic Church, being an active parent of a St. Helen's and St. Edwards student, and the Vero Beach Elks Lodge. He became part of the "Applebee's Crew" who took him in as part of their eclectic family. As such, he is not only survived by his 5 children but his Florida family: Bobbi, Barbie, Mark, Carol, Laura, JB, Pat and Patti, Charlie, Mary, Melanie, Joe, Cliff, his Vista Plantation golf friends, and many more, including this child's boyfriend Kevin, who too loved him and misses him very much. His Florida Family was lucky enough to spend holidays, happy hours and his special dinner parties with him for many years. My dad was truly blessed to have such amazing friends and family both in NY and FL and we were all even more blessed to have known and loved him.

Mr. Stoddard was an amazing man and wonderful father to KRISTEN. I spent a lot of time with Bill, Kathy and Kristen on the golf course and at their home in Liberty, NY. They were an amazing couple and always so generous and caring. Bill and Kathy were great parents to Kristen, and I always felt like they were part of my family as well. My thoughts and prayers are with Kristen and family.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any man's death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
