Terence Bayler was a brilliant actor whom I first saw at the Abadaba music hall in Kings Cross. Our teacher informed us after his excellently funny number that he had actually played Macduff in Polanski's film of Macbeth. A few years later a relation of mine dressed him in Oh Kay at Chichester. I asked my relation if he would like to come to have a cuppa and he did . He was a kind and modest man of great talent who managed to make you feel worthwhile.
