Craig Plecker Obituary
Craig Alan Plecker, 64, of Gloucester City and formerly of Vineland. Cherished son of the late Calvin Austin Plecker and the late Mary Belle Meeker. Loving father of Scott Plecker, Kimberly McCleery (Howard) and Amanda Plecker. Cherished grandfather of Scott Jr., Justin, Brandon, Andrew, Alecia and Lillianna. Dear brother of Jan Cowperthwaite and the late Carol Bitterman. Dear cousin of Steve, Martin, Karen, Ingred and Eva.
Craig proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam War and was previously employed as a rigger at the Naval Yard in Philadelphia. He had a love for race cars and racetracks and was an avid sports fan.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the McCann-Healey Funeral Home, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Funeral service 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, North Hanover Township.

I lived with you guys for a year, you both opened your home and your hearts to me. Craig treated me like a son and did too many things to list on here. He was always available to talk and I enjoyed the times working on his van with him. Or the rides out to the best spots to have breakfast or lunch. He will be missed and your family is in my heart and prayers. Rest in peace Craig you treated me like a son and were a good man.

Kim,
so heartily sorry for your loss of your dad. It sure sounds like he was a great man and will be missed by many. I know you'll cherish all of your memories, from childhood to adulthood. I have no doubt that he'll meet up with your mom and they'll talk about how proud they are of you! So when your ears start ringing in a week or so, you'll know why.
