Nathan Belcik Obituary
Nathan Allen Belcik, 30, of Portland Oregon formally of Bryan Texas , passed away, Saturday July 6th surrounded by his loving family.
Nathan was born to Teresa and Donald on April 8, 1983 in Bryan Texas. He graduated Bryan High School in 2001 and The University of Texas in 2006 with a Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics. He traveled to South Korea to teach children English and there learned to speak Korean. He was employed by Columbia Sportswear in Portland Oregon before he was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Interment was July 11, 2013. at Oceanside Oregon.
He was a wonderful son, brother, brother in law, grandson, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend. He touched so many lives reaching out in his cancer blogs encouraging others.
Nathan was preceded in death by his grandfather John Belcik Sr., grandfather Obie Jones and grandmother Ruby Jones.
He is survived by his father Donald Belcik, mother Teresa Robinson, step father Harley Robinson, brother Matt Belcik and sister in law Julz Belcik, sister Mandi Belcik, grandmother Helen Belcik, nephew Matthew Belcik , niece Madison Parks, numerous family, friends and his beloved cats Bandit, Ringo and Bobby Sue.

Wow, I was just wondering what happened to you when you left Austin. You made work and school so bearable. 6 years ... I miss you with every breath I take, there is not a day that goes by that I dont think of you. I still cant imagine my life without you and yet you are not here. I knew Nathan from UT-Austin and we lost touch after he moved to Oregon. I went to look him up to see how he was doing and found out he had passed away. My condolences to the family. Nathan was one of the nicest people I've ever known and my heart aches that I didn't know he was ill or had passed. Rest in peace, Nathan. I'll carry with me the memories we shared and will see you on the flip side.
