John C. Kiletico

John C. Kiletico was called home to Heaven on December 9, 2016 at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband of 43 years to Shelly Kiletico. Loving father of Danielle Kiletico (Keith Cascio), Lynette Gros (Keith), Micah Kiletico (Laura) and Leslie Kiletico. Grandfather of Cross, Alise, Cole, Roman, Carson and Olivia. Brother of Derril Kiletico (Joan). Son of the late Nellie and Felix Kiletico. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends. John graduated from West Jefferson High School and later from Southeastern Louisiana University with his degree in Accounting. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. John later retired as an accountant with the Jefferson Parish School Board after 30 years of dedicated service. In his retirement, he worked for various car dealerships and delivered newspapers. John was a dedicated lifelong member of Salem Lutheran Church in Gretna and served his Church in various positions. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gretna Food Bank, 1400 Jefferson Street, Gretna, LA 70053. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Salem Lutheran Church, 418 Fourth Street (at Amelia Street) in Gretna on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Hook and Ladder Cemetery. Visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 from 5 PM to 8 PM, resuming on Wednesday from 8 AM to 10:30 AM.
