I will always remember Paul because he took the time to share so much wisdom with me. Paul was one of the smartest people I have known and he was a living example of how rewarding it can be to help others.

It is with great sorrow that I write this note to you Maureen and Sue. I grew up with Paul and lived on North Colonial Heights until college years and marriage separated all of us.I lost touch with Paul but he always held a special place in my heart. We always had such a great time together with all the rest of the kids. Whether it was sledding, riding bikes, swimming or baseball. Those were simpler times it seems, but memories remain. I was deeply moved to hear of his passing. Please know that he touched many lives and we are all grateful to have known him. God Bless you and keep the memories alive. It is good to talk about them.

I worked with Paul for over 15 years. He volunteered to carry a huge workload and made it look easy. He had the insight to help keep our program focused in the right places for years. He made a huge difference for thousands of men, but he was always humble. I will always be grateful for what Paul taught me about spirituality. If there is a heaven they're giving Paul a standing ovation there.

Paul was my friend in our neighborhood on Bloomingrove Drive, and my classmate at St. Judes since fourth grade. Summers, he was one of few who had an inground pool and he would always invite everyone over. Although we did not connect for many years he will always be a great childhood memory and friend. My condolences to his family Pauop he was a wonderful human being.

The La Salle Institute community mourns the loss of Paul, a member of the illustrious Class of 1968. 40+ years of sobriety, and all the wonderful ways of using his experiences of success with those in need, are a true testament to his life.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any mans death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
