I am saddened by the news of Warren's passing. I had gotten to know and love Warren over many decades through our meetings at NYWEA events. We had many great conversations and I, like many others, looked forward to seeing him at the Winter and Spring Meetings.

In summary, he left a mark and will be missed.

My condolences to the family at this sad time.

Your Dad (at NYSDEC) was the BEST boss I ever had! He always did the grunt work, rather than passing it down the line. I've known him for years .... before and after his stroke. He was an INSPIRATION, the way he got bak into sports after the stroke. BTW: He was the best doggone hitter on our team when we played softball w/ DEC. He could hit that ball a MILE!!!
We all loved and respected him.
He will be missed ..... GOD bless him!!!!!

On behalf of the members and friends at the NY Water Environment Association we send our deepest condolences to the family. Warren had many NYWEA friends who came to know and love him! His attendance at our meetings was always appreciated, (both in NYC) and at our Spring Meetings that traveled around the state. It was particularly nice to be able to celebrate his birthdays at the NYWEA Spring Meetings in June. His dedication to the organization was remarkable and long lasting after his term as president in 1965! Warren left a lasting impression on all of us and we will miss him greatly. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.

I am so sorry for your loss, and I apologize for not attending Warren's service. Warren and I played tennis with, and against, each other a few years ago in an adult tennis league. Even though he was several years older than I, he always kicked my butt! Loved that man. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of calling him a friend. RIP Warren.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any mans death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.

Was so sorry and saddened to learn of Warren's passing. Warren was one the the first persons I was introduced to when I started my very first job in the Bureau of Municipal Wastes, Division of Water (Pure Waters) way back on September 23, 1971. We came to be friends as well as co workers all thru the years. Up until a few years ago, we used to run into one another at the Water picnic. What a nice time we had reminiscing about our early days. He was a very wonderful man and I, as well as many others, will miss him. My heart goes out to his family and friends. Fondly, Jeri Adams
