She was a great wife, mother, pastor and person. My father taught her at Wolfson High school and I taught all her kids at Mandarin High school. Angela daughters started the Gospel Choir at Mandarin High school, which became a tradition for several years after her kids graduated. It was truly a blessing to have known Angela. She truly was a woman of God and she truly will be missed. May God Continue to Bless her Wonderful Family. She has been glorified in Heaven forever. May her wonderful legacy live on forever!

With Deepest Sympathy to the Parris & Smith Family:

We was saddened to hear about the passing from the local media of a God-spirited woman name Angela Parris . Angela was a very nice and kind person, who always displayed a beautiful smile on her face. She had the same humble spirit as she had when we was growing up in the late 70's as teenagers.

The Smith family would often visit our neighbors; Mr. & Mrs. Ousley on Sunday's after church. Angela and her sisters became friends to my sisters and I. We would always laugh and have fun during their visits.

My sister and I had the pleasure of attending the joyful celebration of life and glorious victory services for Angela Parris. I can truly say ; this was not the traditional funeral, this was indeed a glorious celebration of a God-spirited woman who lived her life well, and her Godly lifestyle was pleasing in the sight of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

A beautiful angel entered the gates of heaven on March 24, 2012. The angels are rejoicing because they have acquired another angel in heaven. On earth her name was Angela, as she entered her new home in heaven her name has been changed to ANGEL!!!
She always had a very contagious smile on her face.

Angela has left a spiritual legacy to all of the "first ladies" on earth. She lived a life that will definitely leave a mark as to how a woman of God should love her husband and children.

Her husband James; said that Angela was the purest example of a "virtuous" woman. She was more precious than "rubies". It is not often that a man has find a virtuous woman. James happily find and kept the "virtuous" woman Angela along his side for twenty-seven years. She always displayed a humble, and nurturing spirit to all who knew her.

May God strengthen this family in their hour of bereavement. We loved her, but God loved her best. Angela beautiful memories will eternally remain in our hearts forever.
Angela R.I.P.

To the Parris Family,

It will be the little things that you will remember...
...the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter.
And although it may seem hard right now
it will be the memories of the little things
that will help to push away the pain
and bring the smiles back again.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.

Dear Parris Family, It was indeed a pleasure to know Angela Parris for the past few years. She would always speak highly of my father , the late Rev. Dr. Calvin McFarland, Sr., who taught her Social Studies at Wolfson High School. I was able to carry on that tradition by teaching her daughter Adrianne at Mandarin High School.
We would always meet at Mandarin High during Gospel choir performances. Mrs. Parris will truly be missed, however she is being gloried in Heaven! May God Bless the Parris family during this difficult time! With Love and Prayers, Mr. Calvin McFarland, Jr., Social Studies teacher at Mandarin High School.

James I am yet praying for you and the entire family at the loss of such a God inspired woman! Firstlady was one that all firstladies should strive to be like. If she never said a word, the glory of God was very present and evident in her life. We don't always understand why God does what he does but in saying that, all we can do is trust him and we will understand it better by and by! Chippy
