Helen Marie (Dennis)
Cameron, Helen Marie (Dennis) Cameron, 81 of Phoenix, Arizona passed away peacefully March 16, 2016. She was born on February 4, 1935, in Fulton County Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Dennis; parents, Howard and Bertha Dennis. Surviving family includes sister, Patty Dennis Irwin of Archbold, Ohio; brother, Howard Michael (Barbara) Dennis of Fulton County, Ohio; son, Mark Cameron of Worthington, Ohio; daughter, Mari Cameron Limbaugh of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Trisha Cameron, Joshua Cameron, Ashley Limbaugh, Isaac Limbaugh; three great-grandchildren; nephews, Tim Dennis, Bill Dennis, John Dennis of Fulton County - Wauseon, Ohio, and cousin, Mary Lou Newmann of Sun City, Arizona.
Helen was a 1953 graduate of Archbold High School Archbold, Ohio where she was in the National Honor Society, and attended the Toledo Hospital School of Nursing (‘56) (where she was Vice President of her class), and The Ohio State University. She worked as a nurse for many years including Detwiler Memorial Hospital in Wauseon, Grant Hospital in Columbus, and was involved with local organizations including PTA in Worthington Schools, Cub Scouts (Den Mother), and various fund raising organizations in Central Ohio. Helen enjoyed her latter years spending time with her grandchildren and seeing the sights in Arizona.
Due to the fact that her family and friends are throughout the United States, there will be a dedicated web link set up for her memory. With her wish to help the medical profession, services will be held at a later date. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society and or National Stroke Association. A small memorial service has been set for August 2nd 11am at the Kewadin United Methodist Church 20 miles north of Traverse City, Michigan where she spend many of her childhood summers on the lake. We will record this for later viewing since her friends are spread out all over the country. If you are in the area at that time you are invited to attend.

I am very sad to hear of her passing. She was my godmother. Even though I hadn't heard from her very much in the last few years, I will still miss knowing that she is in the world. My condolences to her family and loved ones.
