1956 - 2018 (Age 63)
Tony passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018. Tony was a resident of Texas at the time of passing.
I have been a fan of Tony and Chips music since the 80s. The first time I heard Rank and File it was automatic. I started playing Amanda Ruth and Black Book in the Clubs where I was djing . My heart is saddened by Tony's passing but I know he and Chips body of work has left a lasting musical legacy that is timeless. RIP Tony and thanks for the music..

My deepest condolences to the Kinman family. I absolutely loved Rank and File. I used to see them at the old 930 club in DC and hang out with them backstage. Great guys, great musicians.
