ADAM ZEIGLER Obituary

ADAM WAYNE ZEIGLER Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home Adam Wayne Zeigler was born on April 17, 1973 in Spokane, Washington. He was born 18 minutes ahead of his fraternal twin, Glenn. Adam went to Hanford High School and graduated in 1991. Adam attended the University of Washington for a year, eventually transferring to Washington State University and graduating with a Bachelor's of Science in Chemical Engineering in 1997. He was a loyal and devout "Coug", collecting a great deal of memorabilia and clothing to represent his dedication to his team. Adam married in 2000 and had two beautiful daughters, Annika and Kyann. That marriage eventually ended in divorce. Adam later remarried his current wife and took on the role as a father to his two step-daughters, McKinzie and Cadence, which he loved as his own. He proudly stated to all that he had four daughters. He was a very loving and supportive father and always took the time to guide and encourage all his children to do their best. Adam was a beloved husband, father, and son. He had an incredibly big heart with a laugh and sense of humor to match. He loved to joke and enjoyed eliciting laughs from others. He was a passionate soul that would help anyone in need. He left a tremendous impact on everyone that crossed his path and his genuine kindness was felt by all. His spirit was larger than life. To know him was to love him. Adam believed in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He sought redemption through Him and enjoyed discussions pertaining to religion. He loved learning and teaching. He was a natural born leader and public speaker. He had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and was extremely intelligent. The family nicknamed him "genius" because he was so knowledgeable about topics such as religion, math, science and physics. He was an avid reader, with a particular interest in books about history and theology. He loved football, especially college teams, and always participated in fantasy football leagues, watching the draft, and attending games. He enjoyed working out at the gym, playing Frisbee golf in his church community group, watching basketball, collecting funny science t-shirts, and playing games. He loved to barbeque and had exceptional grilling skills. He loved spudnuts with sprinkles and frequenting local taco trucks. Adam was a dedicated and passionate volunteer in our community. His service included Columbia Basin Dive Rescue and the Union Gospel Mission. He taught Sunday School in the kids' classroom at EastLake Tri-Cities, where he and his family are members. He was a board member at The Arc of Tri-Cities and the Vice-President of The Arc Foundation. His work history included being a boiler inspector at Boise Cascade and as a contractor at PSA Engineering. His most recent work was for Areva, where he worked for many years as a Chemical Engineer, eventually being promoted to Principle Engineer. He was a certified weld and quality analysis inspector. He was the sites only certified environmental solid hazardous waste engineer and shipping inspector, primarily focusing on the ISO-Cart Mobile Assay system. Adam was very accomplished and respected by his Areva family. Adam is survived by his wife Marsha, daughter's Annika, Kyann, McKinzie, and Cadence. Parents Larry Zeigler and Kay and Curt Johnson, twin brother Glenn (Heidi), sisters Tina Johnson and Lisa Harrington, and an extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service is planned for Sunday, August 27th at 2:00 p.m. at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home at 1401 S. Union St. in Kennewick, WA. Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Adam to The Arc of Tri-Cities or your local Mental Health Association. My heart hurts for Adam's wife Marsha, and their beautifully blended family, as well as their extended family. I cannot even fathom what Marsha and her girls are doing through. Adam had a beautiful smile and a larger than life personality. I know he loved Marsha and their family beyond measure. She and her girls remain in my heart, thoughts, and prayers.

We knew Adam as a fellow parent navigating the excitement of parenting teenagers; our daughters, McKinzie & Madi, attended high school together. Adam, along with his wife Marsha, devoted quite a bit of time as scorekeeper at the girls' volleyball games throughout the girls' high school years. Adam was clearly a proud parent and had a beautiful smile. Marsha, McKinzie, Cadee, I know how heartbreaking this loss is and you are in our thoughts and prayers. To all of Adam's family and friends that we do not know but we know are suffering this loss- our deepest condolences.

Adam holds a very special place in my heart. I would say he was one of my very best friend in 7th grade. I talked to him pretty much every day that year. He would tell me jokes and do impressions that kept me laughing for hours. I will miss that laugh. He was witty, smart, generous, and such a jokester.

My deepest condolences to his family. Especially his girls. I hope they know that he made a huge impact on those who had the pleasure of meeting him. May his memory lives on in all who knew him. May you all find peace soon.

You will be missed. Rest in Heaven, Adam. ❤

To the family of Adam, my heart goes out to you and you are in my prayers. Even though we hadn't kept in close touch since high school, through Facebook we did reconnect several years back,I really enjoyed getting to know the grown-up Adam as much as the high school Adam. One of my favorite memories with Adam was in Mr. Meyers 9th grade Geometry class. Adam sat directly behind me and just about everyday he would update me on his plan to take over the world..starting with Canada...This was one of the memories Adam and I recollected on when we reconnected as adults. He was certainly a man with convictions. Fun, funny, smart, vivacious and creative, we will miss his big smile and laughter. I pray for blessings on Adam and the family and friends that he left behind.

I'm sending all my love and deepest condolences to Adam's family and loved ones. May your love hold you up in this difficult time.
I remember many wonderful things about Adam, especially his smile and how he could make anyone laugh with his quick sense of humor. Yet at the same time, he showed tenderness just as quickly to those in need. He was an honest person, and I always admired his passion to live by strong morals and principles. A one of a kind he was, he will be missed.
Rest In Peace dear Adam.

I have enjoyed my association with Adam over the past several years. I was always impressed how readily he gave of himself to others via the ARC of Tri-Cities and other endeavors. I will miss him as a co-worker and friend.

May all in his family receive comfort and peace from God during this time of sorrow and loss.

Adam, I will never forget your artistic abilities in Mrs. Mohat's advanced art class our senior year. You had a ton of talent that I am not sure many knew about. Your sense of humor and ability to do impressions of people had me in hysterics often.

My sympathies, thoughts and prayers go out to your daughters and family. You will be greatly missed by many. My hope is that your daughters remember your humor, work ethic and generous spirit of volunteerism. And, above all, the impression you made on those around you.

It doesn't seem possible that my dear, sweet nephew won't be bounding in the house any more. I'll miss you so much. I wish you could have seen the future as a happy place and not a place of hopelessness. Rest In Peace.
